Washington DC Day 2 & Colonial Williamsburg Day 1

After we left our hotel, we went to eat at a Pirate cafe. The food was horrible, but the decorations were really cool.

Back in the city our 1st stop was the capital tour. So glad we did it. It was really good. We both enjoyed the audio tour w/ our guide.

We waited in line for over an hour to get into the National Archives to see the Declaration of Independence, Magna Carta & a few other ancient documents. We look less than thrilled since we were in line SOOO long w/ no being let in since a couple of school tours were allowed in ahead of us, then they decided to rush us through before they closed. Not thrilled, but excited to see these amazing documents.

After we left, we drove to Colonial Williamsberg Virginia. Our rental car is getting a work out. We stayed in a room over a very old tavern. Before turning in for the night, we went to Chownings tavern for food & a n interesting dice game. During dinner they played music & brought a dice game to your table to entertain yourself. We really enjoyed it.
