Colonial Williamsberg Virginia, Day 2

The 1st morning was surprisingly hot & sunny. If I were pregnant & living in historical Williamsberg I would not have survived. Thank God for ice water & A/C.

We were trying to get a pic of these HUGE longhorn cattle in this corral. They were huge!
We ran into them later that day

We took a tour of the Gov. mansion where they put on a skit to show what it was like back during the time before the Boston Tea Party, etc.

the grounds were huge. The wine cellar was surprisingly chilly.
The main house was site for many Balls and celebrations. Behind me is an elaborate tea setting.

Above is the bathing room and armory.

Chris was mis-behaving

All the actors were in character 24/7. We witnessed how the events that led to the Revolution occurred.

The gardens were beautiful.
Now we are off to Pittsburg.
