baby update...35 weeks

Dr. apt today
measured baby as 6.5 lbs
unfortunately he is in the breach position, which is not optimal for him & is very painful for me.
If he doesn't flip head-down, we'll need to have a c-section for delivery.

Christmas w/ family

Christmas Day was VERY busy for us. We opened gift at CT parents house, went to my brother "T" house & I made Christmas crepes for brothers, Mom & rest of family. Then for dinner, went to extended family & had a traditional dinner. Guitar hero was played rest of night.

Baby shower

It was great to catch up w/ everyone!

Only a TRUE friend would throw you 2 showers in a year. Last one Sheri threw for me was the bridal shower. Both parties were great!

My friend Moni's Gma handmade this blanket for us. I love handmade stuff & appreciate how long it took to make.

The cake was dangerously good. It was chocolate, w/ cream cheeze icing & cheesecake filling. Got a picture of the 8 month bump.

Sister-in-law "J" & her daughter "P" and my brother's wife "G" & my nephew "L".

The kids loved my mother-in-laws singing/dancing snowman.

I deviated from the directions a bit:
I used a size 5/16 oak dowel & some smaller mm weed eater line.
I used gorilla glue to glue the line in
I omitted the plummers tape

overall I am VERY happy w/ the results

Group B-Day Party for nieces/nephews

Since we weren't in town for all the kids' Birthdays, we had a cupcake decorating party w/ gifts and playing. All the cousins had a great time playing together. All the kids got really messy and had a great time.

In the AM we made our way out of Pittsburg, but not before going to the famous Dinosaur museum where they have 2 full T-Rex skeletons on display. Pretty cool.

First stop in Cleveland, is the Christmas Story House & Museum. It is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Christmas movie.

Next stop was the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame

That night we drove to Detroit & stayed at CT Uncle James' house.
