F&S Fabrics
Had the morning off, so decided to check out F&S fabrics, which was featured on Project Runway-Season 1. Very nice selection. It's on Pico near Overton. The clearance F&S across street was great. Got some beatiful wool fabric for $9.99/yd. Wider than usual, so a REAL bargain.

Christmas Lights
Sunday went to see Christmas lights w/ CT & listened to Christmas music. Can't believe Christmas is already here.
Between planning the Wedding & the holidays, we've both been VERY busy.
I still need to finish the baby quilt for T's new little Mav.

I Am Legend
Saw I Am Legend Saturday w/ CT & his parents. I REALLY liked it. That night I had nightmares about what it'd be like living that way. Creepy.

Christmas cookies
Went w/ friend S to Denio's Farmer's market Saturday Am. Bought some GORGOUS burgundy material for drapes. There is an East Indian family there that sells really nice material at great prices.
Afterwards, we had to eat, so we went to Red Lobster. Yummy!
Target was scary w/ all the frantic holiday shoppers.
Finally we found the ingredients for the cookies we made for S's cookie exchange party on Sunday. They were this chocolate death type cookie. More like a cookie-brownie hybrid. Yumm!
We watched Waitress, which S had ordered from Netflix awhile ago but never could sit down to watch. It was ok. Kinda weird.
I also gave S a tutorial on her new sewing machine. She's making some cute baby clothes. I may have created a monster, she is interested in seeing which patterns I have to make something for her self. This is how it all starts. I'm creating sewing/quilting converts along my way. A couple of years ago, I started a few co-workers onto quilting.

Land of lost sewing projects
I really like this boucle material top. I had to sew it w/ a thin brown material because it was soo difficult to sew w/, the threads coming apart. But, after I made the covered buttons & put them on, I love it. Will probably wear w/ a nice pair of jeans.
I finished the brown shirt awhile ago, I just didn't post it because it didn't turn out the way I hoped it would. I've read other posts where people had similar problems that I did. I made a size smaller, & it still came out gigantic & frumpy.
